SMS.to is a communication platform that lets businesses around the world send bulk messages. Companies use it to send customers campaign messages, appointment reminders, notifications and verification codes over SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, RCS and Viber. Software developers connect to the same service through an API. An API is a connection point that lets two pieces of software talk to each other directly.

The site's new design was ready in Figma. Figma is a tool for designing website and app interfaces. This design, aimed at an international audience and dense with product and pricing information, had to become an easy-to-manage WordPress site without losing a single detail.

I transferred the Figma design to Elementor exactly. I stayed true to the design in every detail, from layout and typefaces to spacing and colors.

• I built the home page's channel introductions, platform features, use cases, integrations, customer reviews and blog section following the layout in the design.
• I wrote the features that Elementor and WordPress do not offer out of the box in custom JavaScript and CSS. That way there was no need to compromise on the design.
• I adapted the pages separately for desktop, tablet and phone.
• I set up a structure that lets the team update content through Elementor without any coding knowledge.

SMS.to now has a website that matches the Figma design exactly and looks consistent on every screen.

Because the custom parts of the design were completed in code, the site keeps its original look without running into the limits of ready-made components. The team can also easily update content on its own through Elementor.
